Our first tester is seventeen months old

Every sample we have made has been worn by one person first: my daughter, now seventeen months old. That has shaped the sleeper more than any spec sheet.

Sizing

Month labels are a guess. Babies grow in spurts, not by the calendar. Watching her move through the sizes changed how we graded ours, which is why our size guide gives the measurements of the garment itself rather than relying on month ranges.

Fit

Canadian sleepwear rules require a close fit. Close should not mean tight. Sample by sample, we adjusted where the sleeper sat on her.

How she seemed in them

The test that matters most to a parent is not in a lab. It is whether she seemed comfortable at bedtime and still fine in the morning. That is what we watched for with every sample.

What she did not test

Flammability. That is a lab's job, to CAN/CGSB-4.2 No. 27.5, and it will be completed before any Wame sleeper is sold. "Worn" and "tested" are different words, and we keep them separate.

The Two-Way Zip Sleeper is in development. Join the list for first-collection updates.
