Wame sleepwear is cut from a 250 GSM single jersey in 95% viscose from bamboo and 5% spandex, with enough stretch to move with a baby through the night. Every sleeper has a YKK #3 two-way nylon coil zipper with a zipper guard at the chin, fold-over mitten cuffs, and fold-over foot cuffs. Cover the hands and feet for sleep, and fold them back once your baby is on the move.
Our sleepwear follows Health Canada's tight-fitting construction guidance. Loose-fitting children's sleepwear must meet strict flammability limits; snug-fitting sleepwear is the recognized safer construction, which is why our pieces sit close to the body. Our fabric specification requires OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certification, the class written for textiles intended for babies and toddlers under three, and independent third-party laboratory testing for flammability, lead, phthalates, and fibre content will be completed before any Wame product is offered for sale.
The sleeper comes in ten gender-neutral colourways. Five solids (Cloud Cream, Icy Blue, Midnight, Willow Sage, and Clay Hearth) run in sizes 0-3M to 18-24M.
